Hobart weather

The weather in Tasmania is very changeable.
A wind/rain jacket is a good item to carry around.

The average maximum temperature in winter is about 12°C.
In summer it is about 22 °C.

Nights are always on the cool side, even in hot summer days (when temperatures get to around 30°C).

As the weather is changeable, there is plenty of sun, even in winter. Hobart is the second driest capital city in Australia. Winter days are often cool and sunny (lovely for bushwalking).
