I love autumn

Posted on

I love autumn.  It brings me back to my childhood in France. The smell of the cold air, the smell of dead leaves and mushrooms and the promise of a crackling fire and mulled wine…

Here are some images from the garden and from Mt Wellington for the fungi.

Get ready for Dark MOFO

Posted on

The program for Dark MOFO is out. Last year’s inaugural Dark MOFO was very exciting so expect some great stuff form the MONA crowd.

Book early to avoid disappointment !

Kookaburras

This morning we had the pleasure of seeing 4 kookaburras around the house. I managed to photograph 3 of them together on a branch.

Evening walk in Bicentennial Park

Posted on

We are incredibly lucky to live right on the edge of Bicentennial Park. There are many walking tracks that criss-cross the reserve and it is always very relaxing to go and enjoy the beautiful trees and the fresh air just on our doorstep.

Here are some images of my evening walk.

Sunrise from Mt Wellington

Another sunrise but this time from Mt Wellington. Mt Nelson can be seen as a little bump over Sandy Bay. The green arrow shows where we are located.
