A recent review from TripAdvisor:
This place is a hidden gem! We only stayed one night but would have gladly had longer if it hadn’t been booked out.
Really comfortable with everything we needed and great supplies for a decent continental breakfast.
The best thing about this place is it’s location – right at the top of Mt. Nelson, next to the Signal Station. Spectacular views through the bush, overlooking Hobart and the Derwent River. Even had wallabies in the back yard when we arrived.
Only a 10 minute drive from Hobart, so central to so many places and attractions, yet such a peaceful setting. Great place to come home to after a busy day touring.
Wonderful hosts. Highly recommend this place “
Many thanks for the lovely stay at your beautiful cottage. Everything was absolutely spot-on.
We will return, I am sure, but I do not know when.
We will recommend you to our family and friends.”

“Friendly hosts, cute studio, fine for a short stay for a couple, great view, peaceful and good value with the breakfast included. The nearby restaurant at the Mt Nelson lookout was also a must do, we had a beautiful dinner there.
